Cliff and Dawn Reed need help with the coffee ministry on three upcoming dates: June 3rd, July 8th, and August 12th. If you can help set up, teardown, and clean up on one or all of these dates, please call them at 966-5347.
Also, a huge thanks to all of you who have brought treats for the coffee time on Sunday mornings – you are a blessing to many who enjoy having a bite to eat with their coffee!
We would like to “fix up” the cry room so that mothers of very young children can comfortably use this room during our worship services. If you have a nice padded rocker or glider you would be willing to donate to this room, please give Teri Burton a call at 239-1323.
Study on Prayer- Ever wonder why pray? How to pray? Who to pray to? Does it make any difference? Join us in room 102 at 9 am each Sunday. It's a place to start!
Ladies Summer Camp – Pack Your Backpack!
What: Picnic, games, stories, singing around the campfire, and inspirational speaker
When: Evening on June 15th until noon on June 16th
Where: at Valley Fellowship Church (spend the night inside the VFC “Bunkhouse” or go home and return on Saturday morning)
Who: ALL VFC ladies
Cost: $10.00

Mark your calendar!
California Baptist University’s singing ensemble HOPE will be performing Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 6:30 pm at the VFC outdoor stage (weather permitting). Invite your friends and neighbors to enjoy this inspirational event! (bring your lawn chairs!)
We need housing for this group for the evening of June 12th. There are 4 women and 4 men and they prefer to stay in groups of 2 or more. If you can offer these young adults a clean, safe, smoke free environment, please give the church office a call. Host families are asked to provide breakfast Wednesday morning and a sack lunch “to go”.

It’s time for spring cleaning! But WAIT! Don’t throw those valuable items away or donate them just yet. We are looking forward to our 2nd Annual Car Care Clinic for Single Moms coming in September. As a fundraising event in preparation for the clinic, there will be a yard sale on Saturday, August 4, here at VFC in the gym. Please begin to save your “treasures” for this big event. Don’t bring them to the church right now, however. Items will be accepted only the week of the sale, and we will ask that you set out your own items in the appropriate section for the sale. No pricing will be necessary.
